The gearbox, in particular, stands out. Because the engine is located at the front and the car has a full interior, there was hardly any space available at the rear. Therefore, the designer opted for a completely new elongated construction under the rear seat towards the rear axle. This is a technical solution that we don't often see in building sets.


A design from Dutch soil

What many people might not yet know is that the designer behind this Audi is Thijs de Boer. Within the building set world, he is now a well-known name and responsible for multiple impressive designs.

Building an RS6, he said, turned out to be more difficult than a hypercar.

That might sound strange, but a supercar can have striking lines and large air intakes. With an RS6, everything has to be subtly right. A small deviation in proportions is therefore much more noticeable.

After more than a year and a half of development, CaDA seems to have succeeded remarkably well.


First images pique curiosity

During the Shenzhen Toy Fair, the first renders and prototypes of the Audi RS6 were shown. Although CaDA has not yet shared full product specifications, fans are reacting particularly enthusiastically to the initial images.
